  • Work in a clean, clutter-free area
  • Use a heat-resistant, stable surface
  • Keep a fire extinguisher or baking soda nearby
  • Wear protective gloves and close-fitting clothing

Before Candle Making

  • Read all instructions carefully
  • Ensure proper adult supervision
  • Prepare a dedicated, safe workspace
  • Keep children and pets away from work area

Wax Melting Safety

  • Use only provided melter
  • Never leave melting wax unattended
  • Maintain recommended temperature
  • Avoid direct flame or high heat sources

Candle Usage Guidelines


Wick Maintenance

  • Trim wick to 1/4 inch before each use
  • Use wick trimmer or clean scissors
  • Remove wick trimmings from wax pool

Burning Precautions

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended
  • Keep candles away from flammable materials
  • Use only heat-resistant candleholders
  • Burn in well-ventilated rooms, away from drafts
  • Maximum burn time: 4 hours
  • Allow 2 hours cooling between burns

Placement and Handling

  • Place candles at least 3 inches apart
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets
  • Never move a burning or hot candle
  • Avoid burning near sleeping areas
  • Use long matches or long-reach lighter

Extinguishing Candles

  • Use a candle snuffer
  • Never use water to extinguish
  • Ensure flame is completely out
  • Allow candle to cool completely
  • Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains
